Promotions Section

The Promotions module is divided into three subsections:

  • Coupons
  • Deals
  • Loyalty Reward Settings

1. Coupons

Manage special discount offers that customers can redeem at checkout.

Table Columns:

Clicking opens a Side Panel showing:

Add a Coupon – Step-by-Step Guide

  • Click "Add Coupon"

    • Located at the top right of your screen.
  • Fill Out Coupon Details

    • Coupon Name
      • Give your coupon a clear, identifiable name.
    • Coupon Code
      • The code customers will enter at checkout.
    • Description
      • Briefly explain the offer or purpose of the coupon.
    • Discount Rate
      • Choose either a fixed dollar amount or percentage off.
  • Target Customer Settings

    • Customer Types
      • Select applicable types (e.g., Veteran, Owner, or custom tags).
    • Customer Groups
      • Choose from standard groups like Recreational, Medical, or any custom-defined group.
  • Sales Channels & Delivery Methods

    • Sales Sources
      • Apply to Internal, External, or Both.
    • Delivery Methods
      • Choose where the coupon is valid: POS, In-Store, Pickup.
  • Stacking Policy

    • Define if the coupon can be combined (stacked) with:
      • Loyalty Rewards
      • Other Deals
      • Both or Neither

➔ Validity & Expiration Configuration

  • Start Date
    • Set the date when the coupon becomes active.
  • No Expiration or define Specific Start/End Dates
  • Enable or Disable the coupon for specific store locations
  • Use the Global Configuration button to apply the same settings across all stores
  • Day & Time Controls
    • For example: Activate only on Mondays and Tuesdays from 5–7 PM (Happy Hour)
  • Multi-Store Support
    • Apply different days, times, and date ranges per store if needed

➔ Notification Settings

Send Notifications to customers when the coupon activates:

  • Upload an image
  • Input a title and description

The system will automatically send out this message when the coupon goes live.

➔ Rules & Limits

  • Minimum Order Value
    • Set a minimum spend to redeem the coupon.
  • Total Usage Limit
    • Max number of redemptions before it expires.
  • Limit Uses Per Customer
    • Control how many times an individual can use the coupon.
  • Maximum Applicable Discount
    • Set a cap on how much can be discounted in total.

Upload a visual thumbnail to display in your mobile app and website. This image will help promote the coupon in customer-facing areas.

2. Deals

Create a deal using the following steps:

  • Name, Description, Code, Usage, Action.

Redeeming a BOGO Deal

Apply buy-one-get-one deals directly from the POS screen during checkout.

BOGO (Buy One Get One) and similar promotions are easy to apply in Bleaum. Here's how to redeem them during a sale.

Step-by-Step: How to Redeem a BOGO

  1. Open the POS Screen
    From the side panel, click Fulfillment, then select POS.
  2. Find or Add the Customer
    Use the customer search bar, or scan their ID to add them to the transaction.
  3. Add the Product to the Cart
    Click Manage Cart Items or simply scan the product barcode.
  4. Access Deal Options
    Once the item is in the cart, you'll see a small plus (+) next to it.
    Click the plus to open all available discounts for that product.
  5. Apply the BOGO Deal
    Locate the BOGO offer (e.g., "Buy 2 Get 1 for 50% Off").
    Click Apply Deal.
  6. Confirm Discount
    The system will automatically calculate and apply the correct deal — in this case, applying 50% off to the third item.
    The cart will reflect the adjusted price and deal summary.

🧠 Tips & Notes:

  • Make sure the quantity matches the BOGO conditions (e.g., you must have 3 items in the cart for Buy 2 Get 1 to apply).
  • If the deal doesn't show, verify that the product is linked to an active promotion.
  • Some promotions may be location-specific or tied to customer groups or membership tiers.

3. Loyalty Reward Settings

Customize how your loyalty program works.

Define how points convert into dollars.

Example: 20 points = $1.The points-to-price ratio defines how many loyalty points equal one dollar in value, and this ratio powers all loyalty-related discounts and redemptions across the platform.

This ratio will drive how all loyalty calculations are made across orders.

  • Stacking Policy:
    • Define whether loyalty can stack with Coupons, Deals, or Both.
  • Require Customer Contact:
    • Toggle if a customer must provide an Email or Phone Number to participate in Loyalty.

Control participation and stacking rules for better program management.
